You’ll be recharged after a dose of yoga at Urban Yoga. It’s an opportunity to become invigorated in body, clarified in mind and nourished in being. Every yoga session is followed by a vege-licious meal and a mouth-watering dessert so there’s no need to cook or wash dishes afterwards!

Once the 10 classes/5 classes pass or Special fortnight class is bought, we will send you an “access code” which you use on the Eventbrite booking console below to redeem. We will endeavour to send you this code within 24 hrs of purchase.

  1. To book a casual class click here
    • Select a date
    • Get tickets
    • Choose full fee or If you are a Concession card holder, a pensioner or a student choose concession
      done
  2. To book 10 Class pass/5 Class pass/ Special fortnight class click here or for Special class pass (For Friday) click here
    • Select a date
    • Get tickets
    • Click on the “Enter Promotional Code” link seen in the Eventbrite box below
    • Enter the special “Access Code” and press APPLY to reveal your ticket type
    • Choose your quantity (only 1 per pass allowed)
    • Continue with the session registration like you would if you were to buy the ticket.

    If you don’t have this code, please write to us as soon as possible with your full name and Class Pass details and we will send you one soon. Please do not share your code with others.

  • Friday 6 PM with Emily

Duration: 1 hour

Our classes are a combo of high energy flow and sustained deep stretch. Movement connected with the rhythm of your breath forms a flowing sequence that allows health, strength, stability and flexibility to flourish in both your body and mind. Whether you’re a beginner or an old timer any of the classes will be suitable for you. Yoga equipment is provided but you’re welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. The session includes a meditation and vegan/vegetarian meal (with dessert)

What to wear? ↓

Comfortable clothes (Should be breathable and allow freedom of movement)

What if I have health issues? ↓

Before you take a class, please discuss you pregnancy and any major health challenges (ie back problem or sports injuries) with us first.

  • Avoid eating a big meal for two to three hours before class. Practising on a full stomach could result in cramps or nausea.
  • Drink water after the class.
  • Please tell your teacher before the class about injuries, pregnancy or conditions that may affect your practice.
  • We encourage our clients to give feedback to teachers. It will help us improve our sessions in the future.

Do I need to bring my own yoga floor mat?

All yoga equipment is provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

Tirthapada

Tirthapada developed an interest in yoga and spirituality in 2005 while at uni in Geelong. There he enrolled in Iyengar yoga courses and began practicing on his own. He loves the opportunity to share yoga practice with you- using the body to access higher levels of awareness and fulfillment. He conducts classes at a slower pace, giving you the opportunity to take a step back from life's pressures and develop introspection while still being challenging enough to promote personal growth.

Prabhava Finished his certification in 2001 at the International Yoga Institute (Mumbai).

He has traveled worldwide teaching this science to thousands of people. Taught outdoor yoga to a sea of people at the Pearl River side in Guangzhou China.

Has appeared on TV shows, and done several Astanga workshops in Asia and Australia.

Last shows he's done lately was "Yoga Radio" in Foshan China. Organized by the Guangdong TV

On top of being a full-time Fine Arts student, a musician, and a filmmaker, Camilo manages to keep focus, calm and effective in his everyday routine with the guidance of Yoga. He has been practicing Yoga over 4 years now and had completed a 200 hours intense yoga teacher training. He promises his students to feel revitalized, nourished and relaxed after his classes, giving them access to be determined and great in what they care about. His Classes are inspired by the traditional Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga paths, creating a combination of dynamic flow with steady asanas.
